The Oasis Ranch Commercial Boer and Boer Cross Goats

  We at The Oasis Ranch breed and raise commercial Boer and Boer Cross goats to produce meat for a market with a bigger demand than supply. With strategic goal setting, planning, and management, we believe we can do our share to bring up supply and produce quality breeding stock. We always like to see some leave here as pets too. 

This is Freddie. We sold Bubba and Hershey went back home. So Freddie is the new king of the mountain.

We love to go to the auction. The third Thursday of every month, we visit the sheep and goat auction held by CRS Sales in Highlandville MO. Sometimes we are buying, sometimes we are selling, and sometimes we just go to be going. Thursday Feb. 19th we took in a Red Boer doeling that weighed 20 pounds. They sold her by the head and she brought $47.50. That's $2.3750 a pound. I know that's not unheard of but was very unexpected. I love it when two people want the same thing. Here is the ticket.
